About The Event
On my travels through Sicily, I fell in love with the way food connects community—simple ingredients transformed into unforgettable meals, often shared right on the streets or in bustling piazzas. One of the highlights was the iconic Sicilian-style pizza, baked in a pan with a golden, airy crust and layered with bold flavors.
In this class, I’ll share those traditions with a Colorado twist, using our farm’s produce along with ingredients sourced from local farms. Together, we’ll make a Sicilian pan pizza topped with prosciutto, mushrooms, and Parmesan, a sweet-and-sour eggplant caponata, a refreshing orange and fennel salad, and finish with a bright, icy lemon granita.
It’s a true farm-to-table experience—celebrating what I learned in Sicily while showcasing the best of what we grow right here in Colorado.
