Kids in the Kitchen!

If you are signing up for this class within 3 days before the class, please email or call Dawn first to make sure the class will be scheduled for sure. 970-219-7711 If you sign up for the class the day of the class, there are no guarantees that the class will be held. We need advanced notice in order to prepare.

Cooking class for kids ages 8 and up. Parents are welcome to stay and join in the fun at no additional cost, or, feel free to have 2 hours to yourself. This is an active and hands on class. We will do some basic knife skills and kitchen safety to start with. Slicing and dicing some veggies to be used in our creations. Students will learn how to make home made pretzels from scratch - we will then take the pretzel dough and make some fun creations using only the freshest ingredients! Students will make stuffed pizza pretzels; dessert pretzels; and cinnamon rolls. There will be some fun competitions during the class, and students will get to bring home their favorite creations to share with the family. Please no dogs or pets of any kind. All supplies; ingredients; equipment; and recipes will be provided. Dress comfortably and wear close toed shoes (tennis shoes are great)
