About The Event

Whether you are a professional chef, an experienced home cook or a novice to the culinary arts, your knife is the most important tool in your kitchen.  Most people would say they are happy with their trusty old set of knives until they hold and cut with the proper knife them. 

We will discuss the many styles of knives from German chef knives to Japanese Santoku knives: from paring knives to bread knives. You will learn proper knife safety and storage, how and when to sharpen your knives and most importantly proper cutting techniques that will save you time in the kitchen.  

With just a few tips and practice, you can become more comfortable with using your knives to prepare foods for healthy and delicious recipes.  We will be using your new knife skills in class to complete many healthy recipes.

    This is a hands-on class done live through Zoom. All equipment; supplies and recipes will be emailed prior to class.
